Service descriptionIHS Learning Environments can provide teleconference equipment for any area within QUT using Voice Over IP (VOIP) and standard analogue conference phones. Prior to requesting this service you need to ensure you have the relevant STD/IDD access on your telephone. You will also need to know what type of telephone line you will be plugging in to (i.e. Digital or Analogue). If you are unsure, please contact Communications Administration (Comms Admin) on x81555 and provide them with the port number. All telephone charges are the direct responsibility of the client booking the service.

Phone
A limited number of phones are available and booking is essential. ChargesEquipment hire is charged at $25 a day with a setup fee of $22.50 (for 30 minutes). All telephone charges are the direct responsibility of the client booking the service. Service support
Other information
If you wish to have a teleconference with more than two parties a 'bridge' needs to be set up via Optus in order for your participants to 'dial in'. Staff are encouraged to use Optus Teleconferencing Services to facilitate their teleconference.
